Methodology & Disclaimer Sample Small, medium, and large employers across the United States were included in the collection of data for the Salary Monitor. The information was received from company principals, department heads, hiring managers, human resource directors and data collected from TalentZoo.com. Titles The job titles listed are those most commonly used by the industry. However, job titles do differ from one organization to another. A few examples include: Account Manager = Account Executive; Broadcast Negotiator = Media Buyer; Management Supervisor = Account Director. The titles used in the survey are all accompanied by a short definition that briefly describes job responsibilities and experience level. Salaries The salary ranges show median low (25th percentile), market median, and median high (75th percentile). The ranges generally reflect differences based on years of experience, department staff size, and overall company size. The salary ranges reflect base salaries only (bonuses and additional compensation are excluded). Averages have been rounded to the nearest thousand. Insufficient Data Salary information is unavailable for all titles in every market either because of an insufficient amount of data or because the job/title is too uncommon in the market. For example, there is not enough data to accurately provide compensation levels for National Broadcast Media Buyers in New Orleans. Updates Talent Zoo is continually researching and obtaining data on industry salaries and trends. The Salary Monitor will be continually updated. Disclaimer Information used to create the Salary Monitor is obtained from a full spectrum of sources believed to be reliable. Every effort is made to ensure that the underlying data is as accurate as possible. Talent Zoo makes no warranty, expressed or implied, as to the accuracy of the data. |
