It's important for PR people to keep plugged into what's occupying the environmental community -- what the green issues and concerns are. To that end, we provide Scott Dodd's listing of the "Best Environmental Journalism of 2009" on The Huffington Post.
Scott is the news editor of OnEarth.org, the Web site of OnEarth magazine published by the Natural Resources Defense Council. He notes that good environmental writing doesn't seem to be drying up despite the fact that major news organizations are cutting science reporters.
Scott and his fellow staffers contribute a list of books, magazine articles, newspaper stories, and online reports that caught their environmental attention in 2009. There's plenty of good, issue-oriented reading here. Good green stuff on farming, nuclear power, clean water, global climate change, green lifestyles, and clandestine logging.
