Social Publishing Sites as Blogging Alternatives

Paul Mayze says it well: a regular blog is difficult to maintain. Many attempts at blogging peter out for lack of time or continuing inspiration. But now, when you've got something to say, you can post it on a social publishing site like Mayze's Howwwl, CheckThis, Storylane or Medium. It's like bringing Pinterest to blogging.

True, you may not have the same regular readers, more of a catch-as-catch-can crowd, though these new social publishing sites (also known as "social posters") likely are attracting their own readership regulars. And you'll be on display with other writers, not posting for someone's exclusive attention. But depending on the kind of visibility you're after, it's worth becoming acquainted with social publishing. It may well be a new PR tool.

We thank Danny Brown for giving Paul Mayze the opportunity to introduce social publishing on Danny's Blog.
