Interview Followups (Be Fast, Not Furious)
 






Some tips!

  • Always ask before you leave when it would be a good time to follow up.  You’re essentially creating your own timeframe.
  • Send a thank-you email within 8 hours of leaving (24 hours is too long), and send a slightly different version to everyone who interviewed you.  
  • Emails are totally appropriate - snail mail will take too long and drop-offs can come off like a stalker.
  • If you didn’t get the name/email address of someone who interviewed you, it’s time to put on your online sleuthing hat because this is a very necessary step
