Content Counts Most in Reaching Folks Now
 

Connections are forged by content. With a world of sites and insights to choose from on the Web, advertising itself has to be engaging content.

Content, in short, is king.

With that paean to the power of content, we're pleased to refer you to Adam Singer's Online Marketing Blog post, "10 Tips for Content Marketing Success."  

"No matter how you’re engaged," Singer writes, "continually sharpening your content-creation skills is core to being an effective digital marketing or PR professional."

Pay heed to:

1.) Ensuring that all content passes the "So what?" test: Why should I care or listen to you?

2.) Creating stand-out content.

3.) Being timely with your content.

4.) Posting with personality.

5.) Aiming content for connections and relationships.

6.) Worrying about tone, not perfection.

7.) Making content scannable (and attractive).

8.) Grabbing attention with headlines.

9.) Realizing consistency signals dedication.

10.) Understanding bad content can't win.
