Aston Martin Starts New Global Campaign
 
We know that this campaign is really going to affect a small amount of people, but the James Bond geek within us couldn't help but wonder when we saw the news.

The Aston Martin company announced that it is pairing up with BBDO to launch a new global campaign for the car company.

It is always interesting to hear such iconic brands with very small niche markets publicly announce such a move.

Because, let's be honest — your everyday consumer can’t afford to buy and maintain an Aston Martin. So why the circulated press release, the media coverage, when nothing — well, nothing that we know of — is going to change with the way A-M does business?

Anything more than the announcement is simple speculation, so we do not want to drive down that road.

Nonetheless, it does make you wonder.

We have seen big, luxury brands make changes, or artistic dives. We covered Prada's odd short video with a famous British actor posing as a shrink. We covered Kenneth Cole with some of his more "outlandish" statements and ads. So it does ring true that a big announcement doesn't necessarily mean a big swing in change.

But how fun it would be if it did?
