The upcoming years are going to be filled with exciting new developments at Spotify and we’re looking for exceptional designers to make the Spotify of tomorrow beautiful, usable and inventive.

Working from our brand new New York office, you’ll be part of a small and rapidly growing team. You’ll spend your days at Spotify with tasks ranging from ideation and mocking up new UI features to creating well balanced layouts and stunning new icons. At Spotify, we’re passionate about what we do. We look for folks who are strong minded and have clear vision while also doing whatever it takes to get the job done.

Significant professional experience is preferred. You should know the ins and outs of Photoshop, have ridiculous attention to detail, and take great pride in your craft. You’ll be designing for a range of different applications and will have to maintain a consistent style while individually tailoring to the specific conventions and guidelines for every platform. We’re not looking for someone to decorate our UI or create print material – we want someone who understands user behavior and is able to create interfaces that look great and are effortless to use. Your portfolio should include work pieces that showcase your eye for pixel-perfection and a user-centric design approach.
