Senior Project Manager
That’s Nice is a science agency providing Insight, Agency and Consulting services to a global pharmaceutical client base. We are New York City marketing communications agency of 30 people providing strategic positioning and brand management. It also provides integrated print projects, direct mail, trade show solutions and some advertising to meet the needs of clients in the Life Science market.
We are continually seeking professionals to join our team.
Job Specifications:
Project Management (60% of role)
Efficiently push projects through the completion process in the company, securing the needs of creative
staff and liaising with vendors and internal account managers.
Manage communication between vendors, other account managers / directors and creative staff with very strong written and verbal English ability and general communications skills.
Create and manage timelines for projects in “teamwork” software or other suitable format. See that these meet the client need/brief, that everyone involved with the project is aware of them, and that they are followed and met.
Manage projects against established budgets, and track budget usage throughout the project.
Track monthly project completions for invoicing use.
If needed, attend client market events, trade shows, and conferences to support clients, network,
establish contact relationships, and represent That’s Nice expertise.
Manage projects from clients as well as internal business for both inbound enquires and outbound sales
marketing.
Arrange meetings, presentations, proposals, and pitch appointments. Prepare background material, alignment of services, and budget analysis for these meetings – and possibly conduct in conjunction with
another business team member or Director.
Company promotion tracking:
Keeping a weekly / monthly track on the outward-bound marketing for TN and its supporting brands. This will be based off our ROI tracker.
Account management (30% of role)
Maintain ongoing relations with key established accounts through direct client contact, including liaison on current projects and prospecting for new projects, taking detailed project briefs, and assessing growth potential.
Provide strategic input to client and help drive client decision-making process.
Relate progress and share general and individual feedback from contact with staff and management at
That's Nice. Strategize on promotional presentation of company capabilities. Convey feedback to staff on market conditions and project progress.
Maintain contact data for own prospect list to That’s Nice specification on company’s CRM database.
Some assistance on PR and media liaison to serve clients will also be part of this role if the candidate has
the appropriate skills / experience.
BD Support (10% of role)
This would be in conjunction with the Sales team other Account/Project Managers:
Help coordinate and undertake prospecting of contacts by telephone and referrals. Verify information,
manage contact data, coordinate mailings (direct mail, personalized, samples, emails) and follow up.
Create project estimates and SOW as well pitch decks for presentation and sales.
If needed, attend client market events, trade shows, and conferences to support clients, network,
establish contact relationships, and represent That’s Nice expertise.
Arrange meetings, presentations, proposals, and pitch appointments. Prepare background material,
alignment of services, and budget analysis for these meetings – and possibly conduct in conjunction with
another business team member or Director.
Travel Commitment (under normal condition): That's Nice expects this position could have up to 4 weeks of travel through the year.
Job Requirements:
  1. Minimum 5 years fulltime project management experience working in marketing agency or 4A Ad agency is a must.
  2. Basic understanding or working experience in pharmaceutical industry will be a plus.
  3. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint.
  4. This position will be totally office-based.
Work Environment
Typical office hours are 9.00am – 6.00pm but additional hours may be necessary as project needs demand.
The role will often work in conjunction with a team of writers and web programmers, and is expected to integrate and compromise effectively on project execution with the common goal of exceeding the client’s needs.
This role is office-based, in an open space with other staff, visitors in and out and music playing, which creates a lively environment.
Compensation
Salary:
$75,000-$80,000 per annum (non-negotiable) with 12-week probationary period.
Paid every two weeks through outsourced HR & payroll partner, Insperity.
Note: All bonuses and commissions are subject to review.

Benefits
Standard benefits: Available only after successful completion of a 12-week probationary period.
15 days paid annual vacation
9 paid public holidays per annum (New Year’s Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, 4th July, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving x2, Christmas Day, Dec 26th)
5 paid sick days per annum
Employer flat contribution to company-offered health insurance (through Insperity)
$20,000 in company-paid Group Term Life / AD&D Insurance (through Insperity)
If you exceed these day counts in PTO during a calendar year, you will not be paid for any further time off.
After 5 years with the company, employees earn 20 days of paid vacation per year, and after 10 years they earn 25 days of paid vacation per annum.
