Title: Senior Account Manager

Employer Description

This position is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the customers’ expectations are being exceeded in regards to the specifications outlined in the agreed upon Statements of Work (SOW). Account Team members, must be able to anticipate needs, be influential without authority, and sell the services of Snow at all times. They are responsible for having a good understanding of the brand strategy and marketing goals, as well as an understanding of the client’s unique skills or gaps in performance and communication. Account team members must have strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills. They must also be able to balance the needs of the client with the needs of Snow’s business. They must have the ability to quickly build trust and credibility with the client. They are responsible for communicating the status of an account to internal and external stakeholders.. In addition, they are responsible for the daily communication with the client and depending on experience may be responsible for managing a team of direct reports.
These roles include the aforementioned tasks as well as the following:
  • Conducts regular meetings with the Account Team. Maintains close contact with everyone on the team, and is aware of all ongoing projects; provides support, guidance, and resources as necessary
  • Confers with Account Team for internal issue resolution related to team dynamics
  • Reviews ongoing performance results and identifies needs of team members
  • Implements coaching or mentoring partnerships as appropriate
  • Interviewing potential team candidates
  • Keep EVPs apprised of key issues regarding account status
  • Responsible for managing the work load of the team enablers (events, client services, Ambassadors) assigned to the brand ensuring that all tactics contained in the SOW are being executed on in professional and timely manner
  • Ensuring that all team members understand and are involved with key client issues and review and approve all material before shown to client
  • Responsible for partnering and providing direction to Creative Team (in terms of brand strategy) for creative development of collateral and stories
  • Recommend appropriate policies regarding pricing, promotion, product and market evaluations, and marketing plans
  • Responsible for supervising client invoicing and budgeting process
  • Analyze business developments and consult trade & marketing journals to monitor market trends and determine market opportunities
  • Provide leadership in development of strategic recommendations to the client, look for opportunities to “up sell” Snow’s programs and services
  • Manages multiple accounts
  • Managing profit/loss analysis
  • Develop SOWs for clients
  • Prepare for and attend strategic planning meetings with clients
  • Identify, research and propose new areas for business growth
  • Develop internal processes and procedures for best practices across company
