We are growing our West Coast office and looking for a Strategic Plannng Supervisor that has studio account experience. The Planning Supervisor will work closely WITH the buying teams and participate in client management and plan development.
Strategic Capabilities:
§ Oversee development of program strategies and analyses for clients (i.e. target audience recommendations, timing / scheduling strategy, etc.)
§ Responsible for management of assigned accounts within the Planning department; typically this includes the management of industry / category knowledge, media planning recommendations, negotiations / implementations and analysis
§ Well versed in broadcast, print, OOH, radio and new media
§ Articulates departmental view on media strategy tactics and execution
§ Run reach frequency reports
§ Interpret results and ensure dialogue with client and internal team to optimize future objectives
Client Service:
§ Maintain client contact to provide guidance in plan executions and identify issues
§ Serve as day-to-day contact with Manager and Coordinator level clients
§ Manages client expectations about upcoming presentations and deliverables
§ Assume ownership of client questions and issues related to all media
Supervisory:
§ Work closely with account teams to ensure media plans are strategically aligned with other media elements as they relate to client needs
§ Control and track budgets per campaign / client
§ Maintain substantial role in management of department resources across accounts
Qualifications:
§ Bachelor Degree preferred
§ 4+ years of management experience required
§ In-depth understanding of media planning, strategy, negotiation, implementation and performance analysis
§ Strong command of media research tools (MRI and NPower)
§ Familiarity with Strata Broadcast Systems preferred, but not required
§ Excellent communication, time management and problem solving skills
