We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Sales Executive with experience selling advertising and marketing services. The role requires a leader who has served clients and led campaigns. Specifically, you will lead all sales efforts in the tourism sector including prospecting, managing outbound content, setting appointments, assessing opportunities and closing new clients.  The Business Development Director will also monitor sales metrics and manage the sales process.


  • Drive advertising sales revenue and new client acquisition
  • Manage sales pipeline through prospecting, pre-call planning, needs analysis and new business presentations
  • Assess RFP opportunities, respond to them, organize all content and oversee the official RFP response
  • Deliver against set new business meetings goals each month and deliver against quarterly sales goals
  • Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements
  • Provide accurate and timely pipeline, sales, and bookings forecasts
  • Use customer feedback to generate ideas for new features or products
  • Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement and retention

Additional Requirements:

  • BS degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field preferred
  • Minimum of 10+ professional experience working at an agency or consulting firm, at least 5 years in a new business role supporting the tourism industry vertical
  • Demonstrate solid professional relationships with business owners, marketing directors, networking groups, and the community
  • Phenomenal presentation skills that bring data and analytics to life, including ability to understand and leverage data to support your clients
  • Exercise excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Maintain and grow working knowledge of digital media products such as Digital Display Advertising, Social Media, E-mail Marketing, Web Design, Content Production and more
  • Work successfully both independently and in a team
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing and growing organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Salesforce.com, and screen share technology
