The Director of Business Development will work with GOOD/Corps leads to establish a strong network of current and prospective clients and secure new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be joining a collaborative team culture and will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing a new business strategy to achieve aggressive revenue goals. We are looking for someone who has strong agency experience with an exemplary track record in building strong client relationships. This position is based in Los Angeles, California.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Work closely with clients to understand their needs and objectives

Focus on building business and brand awareness of clients as well as identify new opportunities

Cultivate and maintain existing relationships with clients and initiate regular communication

Collaborate with GOOD/Corps leads to develop short- and long-range revenue generating strategies and business plans

Create and implement strategies for lead generation, pitching, pricing and all other matters related to revenue generation

Organize, direct and make physical arrangements for presentations
-
Research all prospects and develop responses to RFPs
-
Assist with creating clear, precise and properly detailed proposals, pitches and SOWs
-
Ensure offerings are closely coordinated and in alignment with internal capabilities and product offerings

Achieve set targets for sales, marketing and relationship management

Complete the sales cycle from account identification through close of sale
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree, or relevant experience
-
5+ years business development experience in media/advertising
-
Strong agency experience with an exemplary track record in building strong client relationships

Highly motivated self-starter capable of defining objectives and achieving results
-
Personable character who is easily able to build lasting relationships

Proven track record of leading business growth

Impeccable written and verbal communication skills

Digital and social media savvy

Results-oriented

Excellent leadership skills
