Spectrum, an Emmy Award-winning entertainment and content studio with offices in Tampa and Los Angeles, is looking for a passionate and visionary Creative Director to join our Florida-based multi-disciplinary team. We’re interested in a conceptual expert – with a blend of marketing savvy, leadership skills, and charisma. Their focus will be on developing big ideas and inspiring the creative team – driving strategy, development, and original content creation for our clients, including brands, agencies and networks. We’re looking for a Creative Director that is dynamic, a risk-taker, collaborative and excited about growing Spectrum’s unique model.

·      You are a self-starter who can set priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects
·      You’re a believer in a strong cultural fit and identifying new ways to engage the team and shape Spectrum’s culture moving forward

What You’ll Do:
  • Inspire, influence and bring to life new ideas & levels of creativity to Spectrum
  • Develop, mentor and direct creative staff, as well as craft ideas and 360-degree campaigns that reach client goals across platforms
  • Manage the creative strategy & direction of client work to ensure quality of work produced is in line with Spectrum and client expectations
  • Understand our clients’ businesses, industry and needs at the highest level
  • Lead group brainstorming/concept development sessions
  • Build strategic relationships with clients and lead all creative presentations
  • Support the development team in new business efforts as well as consulting and engaging existing clients towards organic growth

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a creative team leadership role (CD, ACD) with proven successes
  • Relevant creative and production team management experience, preferably for an ad agency, creative studio or production company
  • The ability to identify the conceptual and strategic direction for various projects, and clearly present those ideas to the team and the client
  • Superior technical knowledge of film/video production capabilities and processes
  • Experience with cross platform campaigns including ideation, direction, development and implementation
  • Excellent writing skills including high level concepts with integrated ideas, scripts, treatments, and outlines
  • The ability to mentor and guide creative talent
  • In-depth knowledge of branded storytelling, modern media strategies and distribution platforms, taking an interest in the newest platforms and technologies
  • A strong understanding of digital and social platforms, being as comfortable on Instagram, YouTube or Snapchat as you are with traditional media
  • Strong capability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects while delivering high level results
  • Experience in VR & 360 video a plus
  • A passion for sports, travel, animals and entertainment is required
