Recruit and engage participants in college outreach and education program targeted for organ and tissue donation. Supervises the development, planning and execution of college-based campaigns developed by students and acts as a resource for information, materials, and suggestions for improvement. This includes the implementation of specific program activities, cultivation of key relationships, and execution of tactics to reach and retain the target audience.
Research, analyzes studies, articles and data in an effort to identify concerns and barriers to donation, generate ideas and strategies to approach and overcome barriers, and effectively communicate findings. Explore potential topics, human-interest stories, national/local concerns and data for team use. Provide updated data and statistics on donation at regular intervals.
Develop a positive working relationship with key groups and individuals including but not limited to college administrations, students, community/civic groups, corporations, businesses, schools, clergy, and professional associations. Serve as a key contact for college and community groups participating in marketing programs to elevate awareness about donation.
Implement educational programs on organ donation and transplantation at various community-based forums. Seek out speaking engagements and participation in relevant forums, such as exhibits, health fairs, conferences, seminars, and classes. Develop and produce presentations, informational packages, and other supporting materials which complement the Donor Network’s overall marketing/communications platform and branding.
