OneWorld Communications is a full-service advertising agency and marketing communications firm with expanded practices in marketing research, multicultural communications, and video production. We seek to identify an Account Manager for potential upcoming client accounts. The position could be part-time or full-time depending on clients. Our site is: http://oneworldsf.com/
 
A successful Account Manager at OneWorld uses an exciting blend of modern marketing communications strategy, planning, and project management skills. An Account Manager makes these skills more effective by applying any available additional knowledge she or he may have, of marketing research, the creative process and media production, advertising media planning, public relations, and other areas. The agency's small team of senior staff including our Strategy Director (agency president) and Creative Services Director (co-principal), guides the Account Manager who ensures the communications program is effective for both the client and our firm. Responsibilities:
•             Understand the client's business or program;
•             Use our strategic communications process ACE−Align, Create, Engage®;
•             Develop marketing communications/advertising strategy and plans, guided by senior staff as needed;
•             Develop plan details: skills/staff, timelines, and budgets;
•             Develop creative briefs and guide creative work;
•             Develop media objectives with media planners;
•             Present plans and creative materials to clients, reconcile feedback with strategy;
•             Oversee campaigns and projects;
•             Ensure agency delivers client's projects on time, in budget;
•             Provide reporting; prepare client invoicing with our accountant;
•             Assist with proposals and presentations to secure new business;
•             Report progress to senior staff, define any difficulties, propose solutions; and
•             Protect and build the agency's brand and revenue.
Required: 3 years client account services experience in the marketing communications context. Be conversant with the concept of consumer-focused marketing communications. Be able to work at our office in San Francisco.
A big plus is direct knowledge / experience with any of the following: an agency enviroment serving multiple clients, marketing research, branding, strategy, the creative process, social media campaigns, traditional and digital media channels/planning/buying, public relations; Federal/State/Local government communications and public affairs; international work (OneWorld is a member of Tribe Global).
