This position will develop, communicate and manage an overall marketing calendar. Fully leverage the potential of associates, suppliers and resources across the organization to communicate our value proposition and key messages to our target customers. Work with the Customer Experience group, Marketing, Merchant and Store Operations to ensure consistent marketing execution. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Create compelling marketing goals, strategies and priorities that are relevant to our highest value customer segments by brand, category and season.2. Create in conjunction with all marketing functions the marketing financial budgets, plans and expenditures.3. Develop, execute and analyze advertising tests to drive continuous improvements and effectiveness of print assets.4. Conduct post mortem analysis (financial results, field and merchant hits & misses, competitive activity) to generate lessons learned for strategic and tactical changes to future advertising content in conjunction with Finance.5. Outlines a marketing investment strategy to align with our corporate goals and priorities. 6. Partners with the merchant organization and vendors to ensure an integrated marketing approach and plan. 7. Provides strategic direction on the execution and utilization of corporate key messages. 8. Acts as liaison and monitor for brand contract obligations.Keywords: Planning, Process, Retail, Marketing
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Education/Training - Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or Merchandising is required; MBA in relative field is preferred.Experience - Over 12 years of proven marketing planning management experience. Retail marketing management experience preferred. Marketing experience across various retail channels and across multiple disciplines of marketing (direct marketing, creative, event, etc.) Must also have experience working in a supervisory capacity. Must have previous experience with development and implementation of the budgeting process and creating, developing and managing a business plan. Experience in strategic planning and execution.
