SK + G in Las Vegas NV is seeking an Information Architect to help plan and develop websites for our clients. Under direction and in collaboration with both the technical and creative staff, the Information Architect will help define and structure websites from written and verbal objectives and/or project guidelines.

SKILLS:
+ Experience as acting as information architect, User Experience Designer or Interaction Designer on site development projects or experience developing sitemaps, wireframes, flowcharts and functional specifications.
+ Experience using Information Architecture for SEO purposes
+ Understand how to use and effectively incorporate interactive technologies
+ Expert knowledge of MS Office and Visio
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Brings a user-centered approach to interface design and layout.
+ Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
+ Understanding of Web Standards conventions and best practices.
+ A good understanding of interactive front-end technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, Flash, AJAX, RSS, CSS, DHTML, browser and platform constraints, as well as web standards compliance.
+ A good understanding of common back-end technologies, platforms, and integration points such as databases and dynamic programming languages a plus
+ Minimum 3 years prior experience.

Successful candidates will demonstrate these qualities:
+ Solid layout and design skills with an emphasis on user-centered design principles.
+ Attention to detail and consistency.
+ Strong grasp of user interface, site architecture, and interactivity.
+ Skilled using Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver.
+ Ability to create wireframes using tools such as Visio, with the ability to create functional wireframes using HTML and CSS a plus.
+ Ability to adapt and learn about our industry, company, products, and technologies.
+ Ability to communicate design ideas visually and verbally, and qualify your design decisions.
+ Other duties as assigned.
+ Superior client-presentation skills

EDUCATION:

Bachelor degree is desired or a combination of education and work experience providing equivalent knowledge.
