This role reports to the Director of Product Development & Procurement to assist in new product launches. Responsibilities Track and follow-up of all projects, providing status updates on a daily basis. Prepare new product samples or marketing materials for trade shows, events, and pop-ups. Perform competitive pricing and COG analyses for initial orders. Register all copyright registrations and update online copyright library. Assist in scheduling overseas inspections. Prepare necessary AQL reports. Manage scheduling overseas shipments and prioritizing for Key Account orders. Submit RFQs to vendors for quoting. Facilitate payment of invoices and wire transfer requests with accounting. Research competitive activity, product innovations, and stationery trends. Negotiate new product costs to align with established margin goals. Work directly with the Director of Product Development in vetting domestic and international suppliers. Manage all ongoing PO deadlines and deliverables for international vendors. Liaison with the Print and Manufacturing Buyer for opening purchase orders. Skills & Requirements Minimum of 4+ years experience in product development or the manufacturing of hard goods. Strong organizational skills. Able to manage multiple projects using well-developed prioritization skills and switch gears as needed. Experience in working closely with overseas manufacturers to source and develop products that meet quality and design requirements. Detail oriented. Positive and outgoing with a solution-oriented attitude. Able to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines. Knowledge of shipping logistics and customs regulations helpful. SAP Business One experience is a plus. Bachelors Degree required.|
