The Job:

We currently have an opening for a web developer. This is a fast-paced, high-profile development position focused on front-end web applications. The ideal candidate is self-motivated yet seeks collaboration, thrives when challenged, is a ultimately team player, and is dedicated to staying at the forefront of emerging technologies. We prefer out-of-the-box, innovative developers.

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of (x)HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, and SQL
• Strong working knowledge of CakePHP and/or Rails frameworks, as well as jQuery
• Understanding of OOP and metaprogramming techniques
• Working knowledge of Photoshop
• Able to understand and use Linux via command line
• Standards-compliant front-end development techniques
• Focus on best-practice programming techniques and language semantics
• Comfortable with complex and relational databases as well as ORM
• Able to work well in collaborative development environment
• Able to modify, expand, or refactor existing code contextually
• Extreme attention to detail
• Strong desire to learn
