Responsible for executing production of projects, maintaining creative standards set forth by Art Director and Designer, and ensuring graphic integrity of the print ready files.
Primary Responsibilities:
Creative Execution
-Demonstates understanding of technical design and layout principles
-Creates and produces accurate and comprehensive electronic layouts and file elements adhering to set vision
-Recognizes and flags critical production issues and expedites resolution of issues
-Reviews design layouts for accuracy and ensures project production objectives are met
Creative Management
-Review/informs all stages of project with Designer/Art Director/Manager
-Prepares creative presentation (boards/instore) with Production Designers. Presents and reviews all creative to Designer/Art Director/Manager. Assists team in setting up store mockups
-Ensures that proof comments are accurately completed and elevates any design requests to Designer/Art Director/Manager
-Collaborates with photo, copy, QC, retouching and operation partners throughout the creative execution to ensure file integrity
Project Management
-Collaborates with project management to keep project on track and in schedule and assists with timeline development
-Maintains job notes on critical design details for future reference
-Maintain an organized file management system and file server
-Creates/maintains current, up to date styles guides
Required Qualifications:
·1 year design experience
·Good organization, time management and multitasking skills
·Effective verbal and written communication skills
·BFA or equivalent degree required
·Software requirements LIST: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat
Preferred Qualifications:
·Knowledge of four-color, spot, and digital printing processes and prepress requirements
·Experience with retail workflow, processes, and structure
