Hacker Group, an integrated marketing agency in downtown Seattle is currently seeking a Creative Director (CD).

This position will be responsible for overseeing creative products on multiple accounts. In addition, the chosen individual will direct and mentor members of the art and copy teams. The CD ensures that all creative work is strategically on-target, brand compliant, creatively excellent and utilizes proven as well as innovative direct marketing approaches for generating response. Additionally, the CD works closely with account and key client contacts to help manage clients’ business needs.
Responsibilities:
•Providing creative leadership, expertise, vision and inspiration to creative staff
•Leading ideation and overseeing execution of creative projects; including development of creative strategies
•Acting as top creative contact for clients; contributing creative and online expertise and overall value to client relationships
•Proactively leading teams of Art Directors and Copywriters at the day-to-day level
•Assigning work to teams; creating and managing multiple projects from concept to execution
•Providing creative, innovative, solid art and/or copy direction
•Driving and participating in brainstorming sessions
•Presenting to clients and leading new business pitches; supervising photo sessions, TV shoots and outside vendors
Requirements:
•Thorough creative expertise and technical knowledge of digital space
•BFA, BA/BS; with 10-15 years of advertising/marketing industry experience
•Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving and organizational skills
•Exemplary leadership, management and presentation skills
•Proven ability to mentor and provide effective direction to creative staff
•Demonstrated record of achievement and skills in copywriting and/or art direction/design
•Self-motivated, detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects with competing (and sometimes conflicting) deadlines, under pressure
•Proven ability to collaborate with teams across agency departments
•Knowledge of major design and word processing applications
•Experience in other media; print, TV, mobile and integrated marketing approaches
•Ability to understand, communicate and develop marketing tools to address business objectives
•Ability to interact positively with employees at all levels of the organization.
