JOB SUMMARY: The Digital Media Manager collaborates with internal agency teams to develop and recommend interactive opportunities to agency clients where appropriate. Maximizes revenue on new business opportunities as well as current client assignments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Serves as the agency expert on interactive space and sells in merits of digital programs to agency clients. Incorporates strategic interactive programs into overall client campaigns through collaboration with Insight & Strategy, Media, Interactive, Creative and Account Service. Plans and implements all interactive elements: banner, search and mobile marketing. Provides strategic planning (including primary research and wire frames) for digital initiatives. Actively monitors campaign delivery, makes optimization recommendations and regularly updates campaign reporting. Develops interactive marketing strategies for new business initiatives. Consults on organizational structure and process flow required to facilitate interactive marketing programs. Recommends appropriate ad management and measurement mechanisms to evaluate campaign performance. Provides digital education and consultation to all teams (including unassigned accounts) with the goal of increasing the agency’s overall knowledge and application of the interactive arena. Negotiates and manages multiple portal partnerships. Evaluates potential business development partnership proposals on behalf of clients. Recommends segmentation and targeted contact strategies. Identifies key metrics to measure program effectiveness and implements optimization strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
➢ Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing or related field and 8+ years agency experience required
➢ Candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of the interactive space with desire to see plans through to execution
➢ Ability to gain respect of your clients and internal teams
➢ Depth of experience with rich media online display advertising, search engine marketing and mobile marketing
➢ Strong interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, consensus-building skills and leadership abilities
➢ Knowledge of emerging media vehicles
➢ Demonstration of strong verbal, written and presentation skills, including good grammar, spelling, punctuation and attention to detail
➢ Proven ability to effectively lead clients and agency team
➢ Exceptional organizational and communication skills
➢ Strong strategic thinker
➢ Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a stressful environment
➢ Actively participates in agency and professional training initiatives and seminars training
➢ Flexibility to work extra hours with little or no advance notification
