SUMMARY:
We are currently looking for an experienced Interactive Creative Director for our Los Angeles office. The Interactive CD will be responsible for the development of strategically-driven user experiences and digital communications for our Clients’ loyalty programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop breakthrough creative for online communications and emerging technologies; large data-driven websites, micro-sites, email campaigns, online advertising campaigns, flash demos, mobile, etc.
Provide thought leadership to advance the digital channel.
Deliver exceptional designs and drive creative thinking “outside the box”.
Collaborate with the existing creative team on integrated campaigns.
Present creative work to internal and client groups.
Actively participate in new business presentations.
Educate other team members on creative development for the digital channel.
Must be able to function in a fast-paced collaborative agency environment and be able to prioritize and successfully manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Passion for delivering breakthrough creative and engaging user experiences.
Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in web standards, design and technologies.
Minimum 6 years design experience with at least 3 years at an interactive/digital agency.
Understanding of CRM/Relationship Management programs and direct marketing principles.
Portfolio which showcases stellar interactive design, both aesthetically and in terms of user experience.
Expert proficiency in Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash; and possess strong skills in XHTML, CSS and JavaScript. Should also have familiarity with scripting languages (ASP, PHP, etc.).
Thorough understanding of integration with a variety of back-end technologies and data sources.
Experience working within the requirements/limitations of content management systems.
Undergraduate degree, with preference given to major in Graphic Arts.
Great attitude, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills a must.
