Job Description:

The Business Development Group within PeopleBrowsr is seeking a Business Development Manager to support all aspects of business development from exploring new sales opportunities to closing and maintaining client relationships in the Los Angeles area. 
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with 1-2 years agency and new business development experience and/ or experience working on a new business pitch team to coordinate and grow the new business.
This person will help to expand our customer base by attending tradeshows, conferences, cold calling prospects in the Los Angeles area.
The ideal candidate will be quick on his/her feet, motivated, and willing to take direction. Driven with an entrepreneurial spirit, resourceful, innovative, forward thinking and committed.
This position will report to the CEO and a dotted line report to the VP of Business Development.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Ability to approach people at conferences, tradeshows as well as cold call to get the meeting.
     
  • 1-2 years relevant experience in account/project management and business development (preferably in digital media) 
     
  • Strong attention to details, a sales aptitude and a commitment to preventing errors, solving problems and increasing company revenue
     
  • Exceptional sales, phone and organizational skills.
     
  • Ability to perform routine duties independently, setting priorities and scheduling own work in accordance with job description and performance goals.
  • Must have sound knowledge and ability in business correspondence and an ability to proofread for grammar, spelling and punctuation with a high degree of accuracy.
     
  • Strong work ethic
     
  • Team mentality and ability to effectively work with all levels of management
     
  • Must be able to operate a computer and be proficient in Microsoft programs including but not limited to Excel, Outlook and Word. Must be able to learn other software programs.
     
  • Occasional travel
