We are currently looking for internship applicants for the Fall Semester. The ideal candidate for the Account Management Internship should be organized, motivated, articulate, and capable of working under pressure. They should have an incredible appetite for learning on their own and from others.
The Account Management Intern will assist in online campaign execution, account manager assistance, and analysis and strategic recommendations for interactive marketing programs. He or she will also research emerging lead generation and search engine marketing trends, and help with campaign execution of industry tools and best practices.
The Account Management Intern will work with agency leaders on a multitude of projects, and report directly to the Account Supervisor. The assigned Account Supervisor will also serve as the program mentor for the duration of the internship.
Mandatory Skills/Experience:
•Junior or Senior working toward Bachelors Degree in Marketing/Communications/Business Management disciplines
•Strong oral and written communication skills & strong attention to detail
•Knowledge of proofreading and editing
•Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint (Keynote is a plus)
•Ability to work on-site (responsible for own transportation to/from Downtown Pittsburgh office)
•Requires between 12 to 35 hours/week (flexible)
Preferred Skills/Experience:
•Understanding of marketing basics, direct response, interactive marketing best practices and ad serving technologies
•Desire to experience working for a marketing agency, specifically online marketing
•Strong desire to work hard/play hard
