Falling Into a PR Internship

Summer is finally upon us, which means a well-earned break for college students around the country. If you’re a rising senior, you may be physically and mentally preparing for three months at home with your parents (it’s really not that bad). Or your bags may be packed for a jaunt across Europe. You may also be looking for the perfect internship once your final semester begins in the fall.

My recent post, Boston PR Networking Tips for New Grads, Rising Seniors This Summer mentioned networking tips to help students land their dream job or summer internship. Sure, networking is an integral part of the job search, but what are some other ways you can continue the internship hunt through the summer?
  • Reading – Two of my favorite PR publications are Bulldog Reporter and PR Newser. Both outlets feature industry, people, and agency news, which helps give you a clear picture of the PR world. If you come across an agency that is doing exciting things, check out their website for job openings.
