It’s so easy to send an e-mail, the click-and-hope process might be upending PR’s already tarnished status. Robert Moore writes on Forbes about how many of the e-mails he receives are no more than spam, and he’s not even a reporter. The senders don’t seem to care.

Profligate e-mailing could upend PR as a craft and discipline aimed at influencing writers and the media. Stay mindful of that.
