On a slow insights day, you can always turn to Brian Solis to provide something to dig into. Like engaging with the era of Digital Transformation, “one of the most important business movements in modern history,” as Brian puts it.

The place to start toward an increasingly digital future, Solis advises, is with empathy, not technology itself. “The future is really about empathy,” he writes. “Without empathy, there can be no real change. Without it, businesses will succumb to something that I call ‘Digital Darwinism’, when technology and society evolve beyond the ability to adapt and thrive.”

As usual with Brian Solis, this is important stuff, worth spending time on. He keeps the human element foremost. It’s a bit of work, though, to keep up with him.
