Apple Playing Bush League PR

Apple is a classy company and mine is an Apple shop. I love their products, yet I get dismayed by reports about what seems a petulant approach toward public relations on Apple's part. Petulance and PR don't go together – indeed, they're contradictory. You'd think a brilliant company would get that right off. Yet here's a report from Germany about what Apple evidently did when a computer magazine there dared to test the reports that Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus can be bent.

“From now on,” an Apple representative in Germany told the magazine, “you won’t get any devices for testing purposes and you will not be invited to Apple events in the future.” This after Computer Bild had flown to California for the iPhone 6 unveiling. That’s bush league, Apple, it really is.
