Target came across as standoffish, Buffer as promptly acknowledging its embarrassing challenge. A big company has "a lot more to deal with internally when it comes to crafting and disseminating a response," but a well-drilled crisis plan can cut the time involved, while increasing the effectiveness of acknowledging a problem.
