Highmark Seizes the Health Care Moment |

Something good has come from health care reform/Obamacare. It's from Highmark Blue Shield and it arrived in my Wall Street Journal, and probably lots of other newspapers, this morning. It's a one-page, heavy-stock, glossy flier: "The 10 stages of health care reform...and you can skip stages 1 thru 9. We have the plans you need to get reform-ready now." There's a link to a website that works, ReformPrep.com. Instead of the stages of death and dying, Highmark has seized the moment and, in one stroke, unified the communications trades — public relations, marketing and advertising — into a helpful tutorial that should be welcome to anyone who's in a quandary over health insurance and their need thereof.
Way to go Highmark! May you prosper by helping the public, fairly and creatively, negotiate the challenging early stages of Obamacare.
