Bless 'em: Collegial Sendoff at an Apple Store

When employees leave businesses for new opportunities, they ought to be given a proper sendoff, but that doesn't always happen. On LinkedIn, author Chester Elton reports an instance when it did — employees at his local Apple store stopped everything to give a colleague an affectionate goodbye. Don't you think that registered well with everyone else in the store — its customers? Imagine the favorable word of mouth that resulted.

Elton lists six things employers can do to insure proper, appreciative goodbyes.
