November Means MUSTACHES |

If you’re not familiar with Movember, it may be time to hear about it.
Each November, men grow mustaches and raise funds to promote awareness and research for men’s health issues, specifically prostate and testicular cancer initiatives.
It’s a Dude-version of Susan G Komen.
Of course, there are very select few people that can actually make a mustache look good, so please be warned, people are doing this for a great cause, not because they think the mustache looks good.
Based on info on the website, it appears as though the cause started in 2003 in Australia. It’s grown like a caterpillar above a fella’s lip, and last year, raised over $125 million.
Maybe it’s too early to promote a Non-Sandy related cause, I don’t know. But the calendar turned to a new month today, meaning there’s exactly 30 days to make this worthwhile endeavor happen.
For the next month, when you one of your mustache-challenged colleagues or friends walking around with all seven of his chin hairs sprouting, don’t give him a hard time. And clients, if your Account Supervisor suddenly looks like he doesn’t belong in PR, give him a break. Puberty didn’t have to be kind in order for him to do a good deed.
