Brian Solis really gets it, boy does he! It's no secret by now that Solis is an unusually attentive observer and writer. The 10 principles he's come up with in his post, "Survival of the Fitting," apply as much to public relations as to business generally. They're "Trends for Transformation" you can use and discuss with your clients, and you'll all be better off for doing so.

Solis is writing about Digital Darwinism, "a phenomenon when technology and society evolve faster than the ability to adapt. It's no longer just survival of the fittest, but also survival of the fitting. Businesses must earn relevance and to do so requires much more than adoption of the latest technologies or launching endavors in the latest social or app flavor of the month.

Peruse Brian's "10 Tenets to Survive Digital Darwinism," notions including vision, strategy, innovation and digitgal influence. They're right for our times as, in earlier forms, they were right for other, less pell-mell times.
