No. You can use them now or save them in your account to be used anytime within 12 months of the purchase date.

Q. What is the difference between adding a job and posting a job?
ADDING a job saves the job in your My Talent Zoo Account. Only you will be able to see it. POSTING a job makes it live on TalentZoo.com’s job board for candidates to search.

You may ADD as many jobs to your account as you like without making them live on the job board. It is free to add jobs to your account. You may ADD the job to your account without posting it to the board.

When you are ready to POST a job to Talent Zoo’s job board, you must purchase a space on the board (a job posting). The 45 days your job is active begin when you POST your job. The job can then be seen by jobseekers.

To add a job and post a job are now two separate functions. This might not seem to make sense, but it allows you to add jobs and review them, make corrections, and then post a job on the job board. No.

Q. Can I keep my company name confidential if I choose?
Yes. You have the option to "hide contact information" or to "hide all company information" (which we don't recommend) when you are entering your listing. You can also choose to type in certain fields of information and leave others blank.

Q. Why do you recommend showing my company name?
Your name is your brand, and you will get a better response from your posting if you include your company name. Candidates in this industry take a lot of pride from working at top-name agencies and companies. Keep your personal contact information private to reduce unwanted calls and emails, but use your company name when possible to draw the best professionals.

Q. Why does it ask for a Job Title and then make me pick the Industry/Discipline/Job Title from a form?
The "Job Title" is what will be displayed on the Job Board and everywhere else the job is marketed. The Industry/Discipline/Job Title classification helps us better market your job to visitors who have selected from the same menu options in their profiles and job searches. If the job title is not an exact match, choose the closest one to the types of people you would like to see your job posting.

Q. What if I do not want to reveal the salary?
When you post a job description, enter "0" in each field for the salary range. The word "commensurate" will appear in the listing in lieu of the specific salary for the position.

Q. What if I have large volume hiring needs?
Talent Zoo has various posting packages that may suit your large-volume hiring needs. If you find that you need a custom package, please contact our Online Sales Department at (404) 607-1955.

Q. When candidates apply to my job posting, where do the resumes go?
When you post a job to the job board, a folder is created in your My Talent Zoo Account with the same name as your job title. To view your folder, sign into your account, and click on “manage jobs” in the My Talent Zoo box. You will see a folder for each job you have posted. You may create as many additional folders as you like. You may move resumes between folders or move them to the trash.

Resume Access

Q. What is Resume Access?
For years, communications professionals have been posting their resumes on the Talent Zoo website. Now we are granting access to qualified clients to search our database to find candidates. Only professionals who have given their express permission to participate will be included in your Resume Access search.

Q. Why would I need to search resumes?
As the saying goes, if Mohammed won't come to the mountain, the mountain must go to Mohammed. Use Resume Access to identify candidates for your difficult candidate searches or for openings you might not want to publicize.

Q. If I buy Resume Access, do I still need to post jobs to the Job Board?
Your hiring strategy should include all the tools available to fill your open positions as quickly as possible. An empty desk prevents you from doing business, so we recommend using any means necessary.

Q. What does the search box titled "Keywords" do?
Use keywords here to search the body of our candidates' resumes. Looking for someone with interactive experience, or who is bilingual in Spanish? If it's in their resume, you'll find them.

Q. What is the Advanced Search?
Search for candidates based on their regional preference, experience categories and years in the business. Use this tool to filter candidates for a more refined search.

Q. I can't access the details of a resume that I searched and clicked on. Why?
We are offering previews of the resumes in our database to demonstrate the kind of results you can expect for your search. To view the full details of a resume, you must purchase Resume Access.

Q. How can I contact a candidate if there is no contact information on the resume?
As a Resume Access subscriber, you can email a candidate through our site. You may choose to add your personal phone number or email, and should the candidate have an interest, he/she may respond directly to you.

Q. Why do I have to wait 2 days to gain access to your Resume service?
In order to protect the quality of our database, we can only offer it to our customers on a "by approval" basis. We need to assure the professionals who use TalentZoo.com that by posting their resumes, they are not opening themselves up to a world of SPAM. Once a Talent Zoo Representative has validated your company information, you will be contacted regarding your approval status.

Q. Can I purchase Resume Access for 1 month or for a limited region?
Absolutely. You can choose from any combination of seven regions or choose national access. This will allow you to be even more targeted during your candidate search.

Q. How can I save resumes I find on Resume Access?
You can download resumes one at a time, email them to other decision makers or save them in your personal folder system within your My Talent Zoo Account.

Q. Can I create new folders in my Manage Resumes tab?
Yes. A new folder will be created for every job posting in your account, but you can also add as many folders as you need to stay organized. Add resumes from Resume Access to a folder assigned to a particular job posting or to one of the folders you've created. You can also move resumes from any folder to your "favorites" or "trash."

Q. Can I get back a resume I trashed?
As long as you have not purged your trash folder, you can move it back to an active folder. You cannot retrieve a resume from trash after this folder has been purged. If you have trashed a resume you received in response to a job posting from a candidate, there is nothing you can do to get it back. If you have trashed a resume you placed there from the Resume Access database, you can try to find it again and replace it as long as your subscription to Resume Access is still active.
