The Facebook Timeline app bandwagon is getting pretty darn crowded these days. These apps, created using Facebook's Open Graph, allow users to share specific actions to their Timelines. And if you're a brand or organization with a strong or steadily rising Facebook presence, it's about time you looked into Timeline apps.

As of last month, Facebook had added more than 3,000 Timeline apps. Most recently, a number of other notable brands have added their own apps with much success:

The new Timeline app, launched April 12, allows you to push your new StumbleUpon discoveries to your Facebook Timeline.

This video app has seen much success since integrating with Facebook's Open Graph a little over two months ago. This iPhone app allows users to shoot, edit, and share video clips, so using a Timeline app was a no-brainer.

For some time, Facebook has been working with Instagram on a Timeline app. This became clear after Facebook bought Instagram for $1 billion earlier this week. The new app, which lets users tell their Facebook friends they "took a photo," is being rolled out slowly to current Instagram users.

When it launched its Timeline app, Ustream doubled its number of new signups per day.

The popular talent competition now lets its viewers use a Timeline app to vote for their favorite artists each week. And in the process, it's making American Idol look a little passe.

Have you used any of the Timeline apps listed above? What Timeline apps do you enjoy using, if any?
