In yet another move designed to make Facebook your one and only source for all things Internet, the social media giant has now launched the Notify news app, allowing users to tailor content sources in their feed.

So far, 70 organizations have signed on, including big names in news like CNN and Fox News. Users who install the app can pick from the participating news outlets to provide a personalized mix of content. Users can also curate Notify's feed based on areas of interest.

According to a blog post announcing Notifiy:

"Everyone has different interests, so whether you’re into sports, celebrities, news, movies, music or shopping, Notify makes it easy to find notifications you’re into with a broad selection of great “stations” across a variety of categories."

Notify will also provide users with suggestions for additional sources based off of their selected interests. Notifications about breaking news and relevant updates will be automatically pushed to users’ lock screens, making sure to keep people up to date on what is happening in their areas of interest.

Facebook's Notify launched last week, but is so far only available to iPhone users in the United States. For more information about Notify, visit notify.co.
