Every budding fashionista — or actually anyone trying to pick an outfit — knows the struggle is real. Many have spent hours standing in front of their closets agonizing over the tough decision of what to wear. Do these pants go with that top? Do I have a pair of shoes that matches that suit? What will I wear next week to that business meeting? These difficult questions now have an easier manner in which to be answered.

Tech company Stylitics has updated and released its fashion-minded app, ClosetSpace. ClosetSpace is a “fashion inspiration, virtual closet, & outfit planner” all rolled into one. Features within the app include “organization tools, daily style inspiration, expert advice & tools, deals & rewards” and “product discovery.” Think of it as access to your entire closet from your smartphone or tablet.

To get started, users upload photos of their wardrobes to the ClosetSpace app. The photos can be of blouses, jackets, pants, skirts, jewelry — basically any type of clothing or accessory you own. The app then allows users to organize their wardrobes in the “My Items” feature. Users can track outfits they already own as well as new items purchased from online retailers. The work is heavy on the front end for the user, but once the initial photo upload takes place, it should require less time.

The virtual closet allows users to browse wardrobe pieces and plan outfits. The outfits can be planned days in advance or in the spur of the moment. The app also has a feature that assists users in selecting outfits based on a particular occasion, and even the weather.

ClosetSpace also provides a historical reference for users through synchronization to their Google calendars. Users can then go to a specific day and look at what was worn, right down to the last-minute detail. No more worries about repeating outfits — oh, the horror! This could actually prove useful for professionals in certain industries in which appearances must be kept.

The stylish app provides “inspirations from 135 top fashion bloggers.” This can take the guesswork out of what is trending throughout the various fashion seasons. Additionally, users can receive personalized advice from a stylist — with a monthly fee, of course.

As a bonus, users can receive special discounts from ClosetSpace’s business partners.

Reviews of the ClosetSpace app are favorable and have high ratings. Users are responding positively to Stylistic’s latest app. And ClosetSpace actually sounds like a fun, unique app — one that is worth trying.

Would you download this app? And do you believe it will gain considerable momentum? Or will it be another flash-in-the-pan type app? Personally, it sounds like it is worth giving it a try.
