If you hadn't tried Paper yet, you may have found yourself more interested this week. Facebook’s mobile app, Paper, teamed up with the TED2014 Conference to bring special content to the app.
The exclusive material will be featured in Paper’s Idea section. The content will be from those in attendance to the conference, as well as videos and images throughout the week. There will also be special content from the TED Fellows. The Fellows are TED partners, and include people who are making headlines around the world.
The content collaboration is a first for Paper, and has sparked considerable buzz. TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design) is a set of global conferences held in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. The TED conferences are wildly popular, thanks to their wide range of topics, and unique presentation style.
"When there are timely events where there's something going on this week that really matters to a lot of people or may be really interesting to a lot of people, Paper sections can be a great way for them to get instantly connected to it," says Michael Reckhow, the Facebook product manager for Paper.
