Worst Overall: Dodge: Ron Burgundy campaign
Restaurants:
Best: Buffalo Wild Wings (Captures the fun atmosphere)
Worst: Papa John’s (should be called Papa Peyton’s)
Insurance beyond GEICO:
Best: State Farm “3 AM”
Worst: Allstate: any “Mayhem” spot
Holiday Spots:
Best: Any advertiser who eliminated holidays and just featured product and benefit.
Worst: all others
Election Spots:
Best: NONE
Worst: ALL
Ironic Spots:
Best: All Erectile dysfunction spots. Do they really think guys will stop watching the games?
Worst: All Rx spots. Isn’t the doctor the one who gets paid to recommend a treatment?
Revived Icon Spots:
Best: Mr. Clean (less Macho and more domestic)
Worst: Pillsbury Dough Boy for GEICO
TV SHOW Promos:
Best: ESPN Sportscenter (still clever and true to show’s tone)
Worst: Most sitcoms: They insist on showing the funniest lines of the show!
Hopes for 2014:
Best: More original ideas and creativity
Worst: Warmed over or rehashed pablum
