The app is set up to only notify you when you and the other person have indicated interest in one another, so you can save face if they aren’t interested.

The idea is those who would be Bang With Friends subscribers are interested in being more direct than those who would rather get to know one another more beforehand.

The creators feel that this app is an avenue to finding a real relationship. No doubt sex is important, but really? Maybe so, since over 1,000 couples “hooked up” within the first week alone.

As much as this app might make you question what the world is coming to, it has been markedly popular. Within the first week of its launch, over 20,000 people signed up. In fact, according to Anna Klassen’s interview with the apps creators, they see this as another (and better) tool in the world of online dating.
