Get Organized! Apps to Help You Get It Done in 2013

Ever take the Myers-Briggs personality type indicator? If not, it can provide a lot of interesting insight about who you are as a person. According to this test, my personality type is INFP. If I do say so myself, there are a lot of cool things about being an INFP. As well as some not-so-cool things, I deign to admit. One of those less-than-savory attributes is a tendency to be disorganized. I still struggle with this from time to time, but for the most part, I've accepted it about myself, and I work extra hard to make sure it doesn't sabotage my life.

I do my fair share of exploring new digital tools, and I'm always on the look-out for new apps and tools that can help keep the problem of disorganization at bay. I'm going to stick with a few tried and true methods I've written about previously (see link above), but I thought I'd share some new apps I'm going to try out in 2013:

Checkmark
This iPhone app takes the concept of a reminder list and turns it on its ear with geo-based task reminders and the ability to time your tasks based on where you are (for example: You can time home tasks to start firing off 15 minutes after you arrive home.)

GroceryIQ
No more wandering aimlessly through the supermarket for me. I'm really interested in the ability to take inventory of exactly how much of an item you need and then locate it in your supermarket for more efficient shopping. Plus, there's a sync feature so we always know what we need during after-work supermarket stops.

Clear
Because it looks simple. And when it comes to my to-do lists, I need simple. Tell me what I need to do now, and what can wait until later. Thank you.

Paper
I don't own an iPad, but if I did, I would try out this app as an alternative to the whiteboard that is so essential to my creative thinking process at work. Looks like this app would eliminate the need for me to snap and email photos of my notes and doodles with WhiteboardShare.

Do you have any emerging organization or productivity apps that you'd recommend?
