 It's the season for "Top 10" lists providing retrospectives on 2010. Fineman PR of San Francisco is one of the first to join in, with its 16th Annual Top 10 PR Blunders List. BP is at the top of a roster that includes Toyota, NPR, Craigslist, Amazon, Nestle, Johnson & Johnson, LeBron James, Glenn Beck, and Alaska Airlines.
Fineman issues its list "as a reminder that good public relations is critical to businesses and organizations. Selections are limited to Americans, American companies or offenses that occurred in America..." There's always a hazard, though, in issuing a year-end list before the year ends. There may be another epic blunder about to occur. Let's hope not, though.
