|Can We Improve Our Internal Communications?
By: Dwayne W. Waite Jr.
The update meeting. The status briefing. The daily brief. Whatever you call it, there is a meeting or conference call in your work life that you have to go to…that you cannot stand. We know, we've been there too. We all have those days where we could get more done if we didn't have to go to these meetings. Yet people still want to have them.
The worst is when the meeting is over a phone. Teleconferencing can be cruel and unusual punishment. Trying to hear everyone while not talking over anyone is daunting. Talking and then being interrupted by dings and buzzes of people leaving can leave one unsure of finishing their thought.
InFocus shared an infographic about the benefits of video-conferencing, and how having a visual meeting, instead of the teleconference, is more beneficial.
What makes the infographic more awesome is that it’s Star Wars themed.
May the force be with you all!
