We’ve heard so many times that top executives don’t understand or use social media that educating them (those willing to be educated) on, say, Twitter’s use and advantages seems a major new PR opportunity. CyberAlert.com apparently agrees and has provided helpful guidance on tutoring top executives in social media.

“Top executives,” the post notes, “typically undergo extensive preparation for media interviews and press conferences under PR guidance, yet some casually tweet and post on forums without any preparation or controls. Ironically, social media can be more dangerous than old-fashioned press conferences since they have greater immediacy and reach…”
