Are you a smart investor? Do you make money hand over fist? Or do you leave your money in your 401K and just glance at the quarterly report? Future Advisor is a premium online investment service that can automatically manage your investments by algorithm.

Future Advisor solves the problem of leaking investments. We all know there are fees in investing. Future Advisor aims to highlight where money is leaking out of your investments and shows you how to keep that money. They claim to have a Nobel Prize–winning strategy. Anyone that wins the Nobel Prize must know what they are talking about, right? If you read carefully, Future Advisor is saying that they did not win the Nobel Prize for their research, but that they are employing strategies that did win the Nobel Prize. Two of these principles are Modern Portfolio Theory and Fama-French Three Factor Model.

Then they claim to do all this in less than two minutes. We all seem to want everything fast, plus our attention spans have dramatically decreased over the years. Is it really possible?

They use algorithms, so it is possible. They will compare your investments to models and highlight the differences. They also claim that rebalancing your portfolio once a year, which only takes 10 minutes, will improve your performance.

Low-cost, high-quality analysis; fast, Nobel prize-winning, improved performance. This is the take-away from Future Advisor. For the beginner to intermediate investor, seems like an incredible resource to help manage your investments.
