When we find a great commercial, we don’t fast-forward through the show on DVR. When your teenage son asks you to watch something, you watch. The commercial he found that was terrific was about zumba. It was promoting zumba across the country.
The commercial started out showing people in different settings having a body spasm. The spasm turned into more movement and eventually people were dancing full out and twerking. The commercial was enthusiastic, energetic, and fun. It drew you in and surprised you at the end by being a promotion for zumba.
They offer zumba at our club and it is a well-attended class. It is a great way for people to get exercise while having fun. This commercial should generate interest in zumba, which will cause people to start looking for zumba classes. Zumba.com highlights key statistics. Zumba is being done in 180 countries by 15 million people at 200,000 locations. That is a worldwide phenomenon, and the website is telling you to ditch the workout and let zumba move you.
The commercial was entertaining and a great example of marketing the zumba industry.
