We grew up in both an R&B household and Wendy's family. Only whenever my siblings and I pitched a fit when we were younger would my parents stop at Burger King or McDonald's. When the group of us would be walking home from the bus stop, we would hear Mary J. Blige ringing out from our house. Other times, it would be Bobby Brown, Toni Braxton, Blackstreet, or Teddy Riley, and of course, Boys II Men.

Boys II Men hasn't been in the limelight for a while, and now it seems they are trying to slowly creep back into mainstream society.

The R&B troupe has teamed up with Wendy's to sing love songs due to Wendy's bringing back its infamous pretzel burger. Note the trio is not making the lyrics up on their own, but they gather tweets from people who exclaim their love for the burger on Facebook or Twitter, with those users getting the shoutout.

Too amusing not to watch. We almost laughed out loud at the "OMG" part.

Will this give Wendy's the attention and notoriety it is seeking? Possibly. The one Wendy's did before this featuring Desire has just over 800,000 hits on YouTube.

Wendy's is trying to look more trendy, and this could be a winning strategy. We'll just have to wait and see if the fast-food restaurant can land a bigger, more current name.
