|Your Own Cabana Boy
By: Cindy Wendland
Many of us have dreams about a fit, tanned, sexy-bodied babe cleaning our pool, doing yardwork, or slathering us with suntan lotion. That wouldn’t bode well for our relationships. Instead, to make sure you have covered yourself well with suntan lotion, meet My Cabana Boy. This sunscreen gun allows for easy application of sunscreen in those hard-to-reach areas. It may not be as exciting as an actual cabana boy, but preventing sunburn is exciting.
As far as gadgets go, there are extensions to throw a tennis ball to a dog so you don’t have to touch the soggy, saliva-soaked ball. There are extensions to shave hard-to-reach back areas. Why not a sunscreen gun? It makes great sense.
The design is similar to a caulk gun and works only for spray/aerosol sunscreen. Otherwise, you would get a blob of sunscreen lotion and would still need to rub it in. The medical profession has taught us the importance of properly applying sunscreen, so a tool that makes it easier to do so is helpful and more graceful. As a Facebook post states, “No more looking like an idiot trying to get below your shoulder blade and dislocating your arm.”
The product is receiving good publicity in Allure magazine and on the Today Show. Unique products that are useful like the Cabana Boy would be a good addition to your beach bag.
