Beats Music Pulls a Goldilocks

Beats Electronics made a name for themselves with high-quality headphones. They made it cool to have something big on your ears, instead of the little earbuds. Beats Music service is all about finding music that is just right for you. Just like Goldilocks’ experience.

The classic Goldilocks story is about trying this and trying that and finally finding something that is just right for you. Ellen Degeneres starred as Goldilocks in the Beats Music commercial. She tried music from several different bears before she found what she liked for her party. The simple comparison is powerful. Everyone gets the point.

With music, there are so many options and people have such different tastes that it is sometimes difficult to find music you like. We sometimes trade our iPods when we work out to see what other people have in their playlists. Trading gives us ideas for music we want in our own personal playlist. Beats takes it further. They have recommended playlists for whatever you want to do — dancing, dreaming, drinking, driving — and it saves soooo much time.

Beats Music family plan is a service for $14.99 a month for a family of five. Another monthly service fee! Not appealing. However, if this service can reduce the hours our children spend searching for and downloading music so they can spend more time on homework or just hanging out with us, terrific! It’s worth the fee. Sign me up and Goldilocks too!
